Our Tutors

Ramona Richardson, Ed.S

Owner, Academic Advisor, Coach & Tutor

Ramona is a Reading Specialist, Certified Teacher (K-12) and Instructional Coach. She has more than 25 years of experience identifying the cause(s) of reading delays, designing individualized reading plans, instructing students grades K-12, supporting parents and homeschooling families, and providing professional development for teachers through coaching cycles. Ramona has earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Masters of Reading and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and holds a teacher certification in both Florida and Georgia.

Makayla Smith

Tutor

Ms. Makayla has been tutoring since her Junior year in high school. She sees tutoring as more of a mentoring process, with the understanding that clear communication and personal connection are just as important to student success as is access to proper learning materials. She is currently enrolled at FAMU as a Journalism major.
